Our story began with the passion of our founder, who has been fascinated by rugs, kilims, and antique objects since childhood. When the company was established, he was still a university student with a dream — to turn his love for collecting into a business. In 2015, we opened our first store in the heart of Istanbul, right beneath the historic Galata Tower in Beyoğlu.
As we met customers whose eyes lit up at the sight of handwoven rugs and kilims, our own obsession only grew stronger. Today, with a collection of over 5,000 unique pieces, we proudly serve our customers both in our Beyoğlu showroom in Istanbul and from our warehouse in the United States. Each rug and kilim is carefully sourced from villages across Anatolia, professionally cleaned, repaired, and restored before finding its new home.

Since 2023, we’ve been operating under rugsandkilims.com — initially sharing our pieces online just for our showroom visitors. Since 2025, our website has become a fully active online store, offering secure payments, fast shipping, and complete privacy for your information.
